Important

All version 6 products from Tricerat require a new license technology to function.  Version 6 products can not be supported using a v4 or v5 license.  Please contact Tricerat Support to acquire a v6 license.



Supported Platforms

Tricerat has dropped all support for Windows NT5 based operating systems.  This follows Microsoft's end of life for NT5 platforms.  This includes Windows XP, Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003.  If your environment includes these platforms, please contact Tricerat Support and do not upgrade to version 6.



Previous Release

Version 6.0.2 was released in June 2016 and has been succeeded by newer versions.



New Features and Enhancements

  • All installers have been re-written to provide a uniform customer experience

  • The Simplify Notification Service has been re-written to improve performance and reliability

  • The ScrewDrivers client and server control panels have been re-written and introduce a new look n' feel for version 6

  • This version includes all v4 ScrewDrivers and v5 Simplify Suite features from their respective versions

  • Bug fixes and reliability improvements

Known Issues

  • Simplify Profiles v6 does not work properly with app-based profile assignments. Profile assignments that operate during login or logoff work fine, but profile objects that are triggered by an application start/stop are not supported in this version. If you are using this functionality, do not upgrade to version 6.
