Previous Release

Version 7.2.2 was released in June 2022 and has been succeeded by newer versions.

Important

Before installing this version, your Tricerat Licensing Server must be upgraded to v5.4.10.16 or later!  The upgrade to v5.4.10.16 Tricerat Licensing Server needs to be completed before upgrading any server session agent to avoid license checkout issues!  See this page for upgrade instructions: Upgrading Your License Server  The latest version is v5.4.11.16

Version 7 products are not compatible with version 6 activation codes. You will need new activation codes for version 7 products. Please contact your Salesperson for more information.

Important

Before installing this version, you must install the .Net 4.8 Runtime. Failure to do so will prevent license activation of a nodelocked license and all UI’s will fail to run due to its dependency on this version of .Net.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Improved Advanced Print Feature to support more printer drivers, specifically the Fiery CS IC-313 PS2.0US driver.

  • The Tricerat License Server v5.4.11.16 auto populates your newest activation code when installing over an older version.

Improvements and Fixes

  • Fixed RDP/ICA ScrewDrivers Client issue where host application did not exit when remote session ended.

  • macOS and Linux ScrewDrivers Client install improvements.

  • Fixed ScrewDrivers Scanning single profile bug. A single profile is now properly applied when the UI is displayed.

  • ScrewDrivers Scanning Client improvement for WIA driver paper detection.

  • Fixed installer bugs when System Printers feature is installed.

  • Fixed a bug when multiple print jobs are sent to the same held printer queue.

  • Fixed macOS and Linux ScrewDrivers Client issues with paper sizes.

  • Fixed color issue on macOS and Linux ScrewDrivers Client.

  • Other minor updates, fixes and logging improvements.

Known Issues

  • We no longer support the deployment of a v6 style Simplify Console in the Pro/Enterprise installer.

  • If the ScrewDrivers Administration active tab is Reporting, the report viewer will hide portions of the File->Options or Help->About windows due to a technical limitation. A workaround does exist, just change to another tab view before displaying the File->Options or Help->About window. We do not expect this to be fixed in a future version.
