System Requirements Recommendations

Often, Tricerat is asked to recommend a set of minimum system requirements. Most of the time, these requirements would parallel Microsoft’s minimum system requirements. Useful Microsoft articles links are shown below.

Tricerat has engaged in stress testing two major components and has refined system requirements based on these testing results. The major components are the Tricerat License Server and Print Servers. Our extended recommendations, based on load, are included below.

Single User Windows 10/7

Multiple User Windows Server 2019

Tricerat License Server

Any 64bit OS. Tricerat minimums:

Processor	1 GHz
Ram	4 GB
Cpu	2 - up to 2500 concurrent licenses
	4 - up to 5000 concurrent licenses
	6 – over 5000 concurrent licenses
Free Disk space	20 GB for log files which are always enabled

Tricerat Print Server

Ram/Cpu	2 GB/2 cpu – up to 25 print jobs/minute
	4 GB/4 cpu – up to 30 print jobs/minute

Free Disk space	20 GB for Print Spooler, temporary, and log files
